Chocolate Granola Bark

By Ange's Table

Hey all.

Its Friday again.  At least I know that my husband will be home for the next 2 days, and will be safe here.

I think the longer this social distancing goes on, the more lax certain people become.  I am not sure if it is because they are getting lonely, or think “Not me.”  I keep seeing on social media people getting together by the beach.  Going out in nature is a great thing to do.  But we should be doing it alone.  Meeting up with several cars of people is not social distancing.

Getting in someone else’s car, to hang out or talk is not social distancing.  I hope these people stay well, truly I do.

But when you go to such lengths to stay safe at work, or in the supermarket, and then want to go have that beer with your friends, all the hard work you put into being safe goes out the window.

I understand we feel our friends and family won’t get us sick.  But that’s just the thing.  They can.  And most of the times, they will.  Be safe all.

And now for chocolate.  Cause we all need chocolate.

mix with melted chocolate and coconut granola
Pour the melted chocolate right over the granola and coconut
mix chocolate granola
Mix well directly on the pan
spread chocolate granola flat
Spread it out evenly
lick spoon chocolate granola
Spatula snack for the cook
So yummy
side view chocolate granola
Look at that texture

Chocolate Granola Bark

  • 1/2 cup honey granola
  • 3 Tbsp coconut flakes, unsweetened
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips, melted

Mix all ingredients until well combined.

Spread evenly, and cool.

Once hardened, break into desired pieces.
