Health Coach Certificate
When we are kids, we can’t wait to grow up. I remember being in the 3rd grade, and almost every Friday I needed to leave early for a “tummy ache,” or some other thing my young devious mind could come up with. But then my mom caught on to my “sickness,” and wouldn’t let me out for the WHOLE weekend. “If you were too sick to stay in school, you are too sick to see your friends.” Thanks Ma.
Boy did I learn quick to suck it up and finish those last few hours after lunch. All I wanted to do was ride my bike with my friends and go down by the beach. Go on adventures in the wetlands and “forests” around our neighborhood. Who wanted or needed school then.
Fast forward too many years to count, and I wanted to be back in school. As I have mentioned in past posts, I was out of work for several months dealing with some medical issues. I thank God everyday that I am okay. During this time, I took classes to become a Health Coach. I am very happy to say that on February 7, 2020 I was granted my certificate in the Principles of Health Coaching.
For more than 20 years, I have worked in the medical field as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. For the last 18 years, I have had the honor of working with the same doctor. He has taught me so much. He is one of the best people that I know. Period.
I am looking forward to using the knowledge I have gained over the years to work with individuals holistically, to help them to be the best they can be.
For some of us, certain foods can be poison, but other foods can be a powerful medicine I want to share my knowledge on how we can use our foods to help ourselves heal.
