Oven Baked Curly Fries

By Ange's Table

Good morning.

How are you doing on this Tuesday morning?  I hope all is well in your house.

Don’t you just love September mornings?  The cool crisp air, birds chirping at the window.  Allergies making you sneeze when you take a deep breath of that fresh air.  It’s great, right?

But honestly, I love this time of year.  Cool mornings and evenings, mild temperatures during the day.  I love the change of seasons, but now is definitely my favorite.

This time of year, I cook more in my oven, than over the summer months.  I always like to use the oven, because honestly, I’m a bit lazy.  And if I can put it all in the oven, and get to walk away, thats a win in my book.

Today I want to share how I make Curly Fries in the oven.  I am all for frying fries, that is one of the best parts of having fries, the fried part. 😉  But when you have had a busy day, and need to get dinner on the table there isn’t always the time to stand at the stove to make proper fries.  But to have a large tray of crisp fries out of the oven makes everything better.

Preheat the oven to 375’F convection setting, if you have it.  Line a large baking sheet with foil, then spray with oil to prevent the fries from sticking.

Spiralize your potatoes.  You can cut into fry shapes as well.

Add to a large bowl with olive oil and salt mix.

Spread the curly fries on the baking sheet, trying to keep it to one layer.

Bake in the oven 10 minutes, mix the fries well.  Place back in the oven 10-15 minutes longer until the fries are crispy to your liking.

Enjoy!

Keeping the stove top clean, but still having amazing Curly Fries with dinner is always a treat.  Do you like Curly Fries?
