Frosted Cookie Sheet Cake

By Ange's Table

Good morning all.

Today my baby turns 19.  How and when did that happen?  I still have the Blues Clues cake pan, and the Bob The Builder party favors, and the Pokemon decorations.  What am I supposed to do with all that?  Think he will want me to decorate the house with them today?  Maybe.

I remember the day in the 3rd grade, when I tried to get my kiss goodbye, and he would not.  It was no longer cool to kiss moms goodbye.  I want my baby back. Oh wait, then I have to do those wonderful early teen years again???

I am so proud of the man he has become.  So caring, and loving.  Always thinking of others. I am one proud momma.

When he was younger, I would bake him any cake he wanted for his birthday.  One that was asked for a few times was a Brookie, you know a cookie and brownie.  Wonder what he wants this year.

I’m gonna keep this one in my pocket.  Maybe we’ll have it on my birthday next year.

Frosted Cookie Sheet Cake

Preheat oven to 350’F.

Make cookie dough according to instructions.

Line a rimmed baking tray with parchment paper.  Using wet hands, smooth out the cookie dough to the ends of the pan.

Bake 15-18 minutes, just until the edges start to turn brown.

Cool completely in the pan.

Once cooled, spread frosting on top of cookie sheet cake.

Enjoy!!
