My hope is that you are all well, taking this extended time we have home to bond with your family members, and look inside yourself.
Sometimes it is hardest to take note of what we need to work on, to make ourselves a better person. That is what I am trying to do. Be a better listener. Be a better friend. A better wife, and a better mother.
I am always trying to be a better cook. And that is how I came up with this lovely recipe for you all. Mr. Table is not a big fan of pork. My son and I love Pernil. How to make everyone’s taste buds happy? Beef Pernil style. Really, you’re welcome!






Pernil Style Beef
- 4-5 lbs beef roast, I used Eye Round here
- 8-10 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp dried oregano
- 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 3/4 tsp Seasoned Salt Mix
Using a sharp knife, make some poke holes in the beef.
Mix all ingredients for marinade together, rub well over beef.
Cover, marinate for 2-4 hours.
Place in slow cooker, cook on high 4 hours, or low 8 hours.
Remove beef. Slice and return to juices in pan.
Serve with your favorite sides.
