I hope you take time today for yourself. To recharge in order to face the new week with a smile on your face.
Do you have any favorite food that you try to eat as much and as often as possible? I feel that way about my Banana Bread. I have made it into muffins, cakes, breads, brownies.
Today I made it into a cake with chocolate chips. OMG is it good! Topped with some whipped coconut cream, it is the most decadent dessert.







Banana Bread Cake
- Banana Bread recipe
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Whipped coconut cream topping (optional)
Preheat oven to 350’F.
Prepare the banana bread according to the directions.
Fold in the chocolate chips as the last step.
Grease a bunt pan. Evenly pour the batter into the pan.
Bake on the center rack of your oven for 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean.
Cool completely.
Serve with coconut cream if desired.
