Bacon and Cabbage

By Ange's Table

“Eat your vegetables!”  Who else remembers being told that as a kid?  Now don’t get me wrong.  I like veggies, even when I was little.  But if my mom put bacon in there, she would never of had to utter those words.  AmIRight???

What are your favorite veggies, and how do you make them?  This cabbage dish has to be one of the simplest, most yummy ways to eat it.

Chop, add to pan, cook and eat.

Simple, yummy, BOOM.  There’s dinner.

Slice your bacon
Chop that onion
Slice that cabbage
Start the bacon in the pan, with a drop of olive oil. Then add in the onion.
Let the onion and bacon cook together until the bacon is slightly crispy and the onion is translucent.
Add all of your cabbage to the pan.
Make sure to mix well. You want to coat all the cabbage with the oil in the pan.
Give it some time
And it will turn into a buttery masterpiece
You know you want a bite!
